It only felt right to start my producer mixtape series (which will feature a project with instrumentals by all of my favorite producers) with my all time favorite. I was raised off Dilla before I even knew I was listening to Dilla, so writing to his music was very easy. I chose to use this project as a therapy session, hence the title "Dr Dilla". Most hip hop heads will tell you that they can throw Dilla on in the background and study, do household chores, drive around, or whatever they do to zone out. Who better to have therapy with?
